Resolução permite que pagamento seja feito também em startups financeiras

Uma nova regra do Conselho Monetário Nacional (CMN) que começou a vigorar no mês de julho permite que os trabalhadores transfiram o pagamento da conta salário não apenas para contas de outros bancos, mas também para contas de startups financeiras, ou fintechs, e de outras empresas não bancárias. Para especialistas, a medida aprovada em fevereiro abre um leque de opções de serviços, taxas e empresas disponíveis para o empregado, já que a conta salário tem uma série de restrições.

Esse tipo de conta não tem custos, fica no banco escolhido pelo patrão e só ele pode fazer depósitos. Além disso, há limites de saque, horário, cheques e não é possível fazer compras online. Antes da nova regra, para fugir desses entraves na hora de mexer no próprio dinheiro, o trabalhador deveria ir até o banco escolhido pelo patrão para transferir o pagamento para uma conta corrente, operada também por um banco e sujeita a taxas.

Agora, ele também poderá levar seu salário, sem custo, para as contas de pagamento pré-paga, operadas por instituições não financeiras, como fintechs, instituições de pagamento e emissoras de cartões de crédito. Basta que o dinheiro caia nessa conta para que o empregado possa pagar contas, sacar sem limites de horário, fazer compras via aplicativos, até obter crédito e fazer investimentos.

Como ainda estão se consolidando no mercado, essas empresas, como Nubank, Mercado Pago e PayPal, por exemplo, costumam oferecer taxas mais baixas ou zero e serviços diferenciados.  O obstáculo das fintechs na hora de conquistar os clientes está em construir o grau de relacionamento e credibilidade dos bancos, que já estão há séculos no País.

Além de dar ao empregado mais opções, a outra vantagem da nova norma do BC é que a mudança pode ser feita sem que a necessidade de se comunicar ao banco que hospeda a conta salário. As instituições conversam entre si.

Mas os benefícios da nova regra do BC também podem vir acompanhados de algumas armadilhas, entre elas a venda casada de produtos e a oferta de uma cesta de produtos que não condiz com o perfil do cliente. Também é preciso ficar atento a taxas mais baixas que só valem para os primeiros meses e depois ficam mais caras.
