Nexoos faz primeira intermediação de crédito entre pessoas no Brasil


Plataforma possui 40 mil investidores, entre pessoas físicas e institucionais, que buscam o retorno anual de 18%; meta é originar 1 bilhão de reais em 2020

No fim de agosto, a fintech Nexoos fez a primeira transação de crédito do país por meio de sua plataforma que conecta empresas e investidores, sem a intermediação de instituições financeiras. Isso foi possível, porque a empresa possui uma licença do Banco Central para atuar como sociedade de empréstimo entre pessoas (SEP) ou peer-to-peer como é mais conhecida.

Antes de atuar plenamente como SEP, a fintech já operava por meio de instituições financeiras parceiras e intermediou a concessão de 182 milhões de reais para 2 mil pequenas e médias empresas, que usam os recursos principalmente como capital de giro. Ao todo, foram feitas mais de 315 mil simulações, das quais 150 mil foram analisadas.

A duração média dos empréstimos é de 20 meses, e a inadimplência da carteira é de 8%, em 90 dias. Além disso, a plataforma conta com 40 mil investidores, entre pessoas físicas e institucionais, que estão de olho no retorno anual de 18%.

O objetivo da Nexoos é originar 300 milhões de reais em 2019 e ultrapassar 1 bilhão de reais no ano que vem. Atualmente, são originados cerca de 15 milhões de reais por mês na plataforma, sendo que 70% desses recursos são provenientes de investidores pessoas físicas e o restante de pessoas jurídicas.

A ideia é que no ano que vem essa proporção se torne meio a meio e, em 2021, os institucionais passem ser mais relevantes do que as pessoas físicas. Até por isso, os próximos passos são diversificar a origem dos recursos, com a criação de fundos de investimento de direito creditório (Fidcs) e emissão de debêntures.

“O nosso grande objetivo é matar o spread”, afirma Nicolas Arrellaga, sócio-fundador da fintech, que começou a empresa com 8 milhões de reais, provenientes do bolso dos sócios, de family offices e de pessoas físicas. A companhia passou pela aceleração da Endeavour e da Oxigênio. “Estamos quase no break even”, acrescenta.
